My Lego tank is getting there…. Making individually powered suspension sections for the tracks was fun. It will climb over almost anything and a pitch of 45 degrees or better. I’m only limited by available torque.

Oh and traction. the tracks are plastic

A friend of mine (Tommy) was bugging me to see the power fist I started a few years ago. Hes says I should finish it but I’m dragging my feet on this one. As usual I’ve got better ideas that make the original already obsolete. But who knows I might humor him anyway Isn’t most of the way there.

No this is’nt college. I’m working on re-inventing the model train for the new age of computer savvy hobbyists. The original and I feel quite antiquated AC transformer system doesn’t give one much flexibility in using said power supply for anything but powering the engine at variable speeds. My thought is that a few components from the modern age of R-C will give me all the control necessary cor the train and a 12v transformer supplying constant power to the track.

In the world of Gaming miniatures its easy to feel like a big person.

This is true mostly because there only a few centimeters tall. But for me the important part is conversions. Now a lot of 40k modelists and players I think tend to be snobs at least in the realm if using games workshop sanctioned models and bitz. I say F@%* That. Make whatever you want! And if these asshats don’t want to let you play then there probably no fun to play with anyway.
